Resorts run on schedules

The big Palm resorts run multiple events a day. Your ballroom may have hosted a conference that morning and will host something else tomorrow. That means your setup window is real and it is enforced.

We arrive 45-60 minutes before your booked start, which is normally comfortable. If your venue has given you a narrower window, tell us and we will work to it.

Villa events are the opposite problem

Private villa events on the Palm are relaxed about timing and difficult about space. Common issues:

• Marble and glass everywhere. Beautiful, and a nightmare for lighting glare. We adjust, but tell us in advance.
• Garden setups. Grass is not level. A 360 booth needs a flat base — we can bring one, but only if we know.
• Power. Villa outdoor sockets are often on the wrong side of the garden. One photo of where you want the booth saves an hour on the night.

Beach and poolside

Sand and salt air are hard on equipment, and neither the booth nor your guests enjoy a poolside setup in August. From November to March it is genuinely lovely.

We will always tell you if we think an outdoor spot is a bad idea for your date. It is a shorter conversation than the alternative.

The Palm favours the premium booths

If you are spending Palm money on a venue, the Glam Bot is the booth that matches the room. Red carpet at the entrance, cinematic slow motion, everyone arriving already dressed for it.

Pair it with the 360 Video Booth beside the dance floor and you cover both halves of the night — the polished arrival and the party.

Getting there

The Palm is a single road in and out and traffic is unpredictable, particularly on event nights. We build that into our arrival time rather than yours. Transport is charged at our standard Dubai rate.
